Comply

It's a memorial to those lost to White Supremacy in the different forms it takes. The title is a reference to the common argument that if people didn't want to be murdered by police, all they had to do was listen, not dissimilar from enslaved individuals who hoped to spare themselves punishment by following their master's demands. Both figures in the background represent those upholding the law; while their uniforms have evolved, their targets have not. The figure in the foreground represents the next victim, you. When supposed peacekeepers are allowed to attack civilians with impunity, we are all at risk. Lastly, our foreground figure, 'you' is not simply taking a knee; you are beginning to rise up.
