Since 2017, ORP has grown tremendously and seeks to build upon our achievements to date by professionalizing our operations and growing our impact in order to advance our mission. To achieve these goals, we are searching for inspired and committed individuals who wish to join our team in 2025. Staff positions will be one-year appointments with the hope and availability of extension.

2025 STAFF POSITIONS


Development Coordinator (STATUS: OPEN)

Oyster River Pages (ORP) seeks a motivated and responsible individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong communication skills to serve as ORP’s Development Coordinator. The Development Coordinator will work with the Managing Editor and the Board of Directors to support the growth of ORP’s fundraising efforts with an emphasis on discovering grant opportunities. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant training (or experience) who are passionate about the transformative power of the creative arts to heal, connect, and spark social change. This position is fully remote. International applicants are welcome to apply, but should have some experience with writing grants for U.S. funding sources, including U.S. government agencies.

Communications Coordinator (STATUS: OPEN)

Oyster River Pages (ORP) seeks a volunteer to take on the role of Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator will work directly with the Managing Editor to promote the organization and its programs and publications through regular social media (Facebook and Instagram) and periodic email blasts (MailChimp).

This role will require approximately four to five hours or less of work per week. The Communication Coordinator’s role will include creating graphics; researching popular hashtags to increase awareness; crafting 25- to 100-word messages to expand awareness of ORP. The Communication Coordinator will also manage the content and publication schedule for ORP’s Contributor Showcase, which regularly profiles an ORP contributor.
