ORP: What inspired you to begin writing or creating? Has that source of inspiration changed throughout your life?

Brandon Yu: I just thought it was a lot of fun. I always figured I could do something else if writing ever stopped being fun, but it always is.

ORP: What would you say is your most interesting writing and/or artistic quirk? Do you have any habits that you believe help or hinder your creativity?

BY: One thing that helps make me write more is the liberal use of caffeine and sugar at two in the morning. I find it puts me in a state of creativity that can't be reached any other way.

ORP: What is the most valuable piece of advice you’ve been given about writing or creating? What advice would you give to another writer or artist?

BY: Like what Nike's logo says-- Just do it.

ORP: What do you hope readers (or your audience) will take away from your creative work?

BY: I hope they have fun with it and don't think about it too much.
